ok so, bros and chicks,
im hangin with my cuz and two princesses and were stogin buddha (obv ha ha ha) and this blueman group bro comes up to us and flips his badge!

im totally thinking, this is weak and bleak, but bros i kid you not, we just ripped the last jay and it was long gone but you could prob still whiff the reef.

so the prob is, the blueman nabs the princesses and drives them home and leaves me and cuz to chill. i mean, thank buddha, the ladies didnt get in any hot water, but me and cuz had to board all the way from the jewish historical museum uptown (thats where we were puffin, also a rad place to scope history if your into studying it) to grand bay.

but yah anyways if this brodude isnt slappin the cuffs on anyone, can they just nab peeps like that? isnt that against a dude dudettes rights?

i think its totally weak, harsh and played.

but i want to know, am i mad biased or is this really a cosmic injustice? i just want to know if i should mad chill, cuz i dont wanna have negative vibes flowin. its so totally not virtous.

So, yeah.

Sure, why not.

You don't "thank Buddha" as if you were thanking God. Buddha is not God. Buddha is you. And me. And him.

Perhaps you meant what we sometimes call "the historical Buddha", Siddhartha Gautama, the Indian prince who became enlightened and so on and so forth; but I assure you he did not want to be praised like God either.

Buddhism is about reality. It is not about getting high. In fact, intoxication of any sort is against the precepts.

Ok? Ok.

yes those are totally valid points bro.

but your saying that a dude or chick that identifies with a certain religion must 100% blindly follow all its rules and regulations? I believe the most important aspect of every religion is that you strive to be a good, kind, loving person.

I feel like i am....... but i just puff ganj dude and surf too!

Don't blindly follow anything. A Buddhist is mindful, which means you evaluate every situation for its potential impact on others (in other words, karma). If you want to get stoned and watch Ghostbusters in your apartment, that's probably not hurting anybody. If you get stoned and go for a drive to the theatre to watch Ghostbusters and fail to swerve out of the way of a kid that runs into the street, obviously that's worse.

The essential activity of Buddhism is meditation, and we meditate to cultivate a clear mind. Intoxication is the opposite of a clear mind, so it's discouraged for Buddhists.

On the off chance that you are an actual person or that someone else reading this is interested, you might enjoy Jamail Yogis' "Saltwater Buddha" or Brad Warner's "Hardcore Zen."

what i want to know is, why did the blueman nabbing the princesses necessitate you boarding to grand bay... how would you have got to grand bay if the princesses (who i am assuming were like 14) had been allowed to continue to hang...
