Come crawl through ye olde log of nostalgia and fill your inner child (and your actual children) with glee this weekend with Fred Penner on the Boardwalk as a part of Salty Jam.

Delightful performance with Ben Caplan as well! Can't wait to hear him belt it out on this stage. His voice is reminiscent of Greg MacPherson - does he even need that mic?!

Friday, July 6
Marco Rocca
as a prelude to 8pm WTFunk, The Hornitz, Bernie Worrell Orchestra in the Tent

Saturday, July 7, starting at noon
Youth Bands
Songwriters' Circle
4pm Fred Penner
Lovestorm
Ben Caplan
as prelude to 8pm Deep Dark Woods and the Will Be Gones and some other guy in the Tent

I cannot express how excited I am for Fred Penner. Going to have to leave my admissions table to catch him.

I am going to sing along to the cat song with such fucking joy in my heart.

I'll sing along with you. I have long thick brown hair, I'll have a red jogging stroller with a 9 month old boy in it, and an 8 year old boy who's tall and thin with me.

I'm mixed up and can't really remember last year. So the options are either a day pass if you want to see anything at all, or the jampass, right?

I will keep an eye out! My hair (red with two white streaks - I'm very patriotic apparently?) makes me fairly distinctive in a crowd, but I am also only 5'1, so, you know... not exactly at eye level in a crowd. Going to shows and standing in the middle of the crowd really helped my ballet training growing up.
