I need some recos for cheap places to stay near the theatre. It is actually just outside Bangor in Orono, at the Collins Center

Good luck on the new little one BTW

I'm in the same boat as Dan or I'd totally be there. Our due date is the 21st so I'd be silly to go.

I stayed at the Bangor Casino recently and it was very new & nice. $140 night. Right in downtown Bangor.

Too bad the Oronoka Restaurant is closed. They had rooms upstairs. Best place ever.

I stayed at the casino hotel before and yes, it was very nice. It was even newer then, a couple years ago.

there seems to be a hotel near the venue, in the university. I'll try there. Would like to walk to the show.

This is assuming there will not be a show added in Halifax or here (ha ha)

I decided to go to the Portland show on the 18th. Just got nice tix in a fan pre-sale.

Thanks, Brufrog. I saw your post and did little online digging and managed to snag a pair front row center for the Orono show.

Weird part was that after registering and getting the password it was not needed. The show is not listed on the Collins Center website, but if you hit the buy tickets tab it shows up as available.

Anyway, me and the Mrs have just completed half of our Xmas shopping for each other.

Front row? Wow. We are in row 7, aisle, in Portland.

I don't understand the pre-sale either. It seems anyone can do it, and buy seats ahead of the actual for-sale date.

Anyway, I'm happy and looking forward to Portland.
